Mag is a trans/nonbinary femme dyke artist. Their work centers on memory, mental health, and the minutia of intimacies and grief. In their creative nonfiction essays, playwriting, poetry, and tiny zines, Mag explores how we create and sustain systems of care under late-stage capitalism through the expansive actions of queer love.
Since 2008 Mag has always been an organizer and strategist. They spent the majority of their career decade working global climate justice movement dedicated to forging structural change through storytelling. Mag is a New Yorker with a BA in Sociology from Dickinson College currently living on stolen Lenape land in Brooklyn, NY.
Mag’s work “Fucking Michigan” was selected for the 2022 Page to Stage Melbourne Writers’ Theater program.
